What Do You Fear?

It is okay to be afraid of some things. This reality does not make you a coward, it makes you human. It does have to be something deadly for it to scare you, it could be a little as a roach, a rat, or even a cat. However, it could be one of the big fears, like fear of accomplishment, fear of success, fear of examinations, fear of Mathematics, and the list could go on for all of eternity.

There is no simple way to  overcome the greatest fears in your life. Some people may tell you "get over it", "just believe in yourself" and any of all that motivational pep talk, as if it was that simple.

I personally get ticked off in my mind when people tell me things like, "it's all in your head", "don't think about it". It is actually not as though I do not appreciate the love and support, but I do not feel like those pep talks contributed directly to helping me overcome my fears. I place a higher premium on hearing from someone who has had a similar experience and who eventually overcame the same fear. I have a feeling I would hear the truth from the person on how exactly to overcome this fear.

When I was in high school, I hated mathematics, so much so that it was difficult for me to pass it. Everyone told me "it's in your head" "love maths,if you hate it you will fail" "it's just maths". I literally hated hearing those words more than anything, because none of it was making me pass maths. I wrote "I love Maths" all over my notebook, still nothing. I was not getting any closer to passing mathematics. I then started taking Further Mathematics because it was complusory and to my utmost surprise, I was acing it. I am not sure I understand how this happened because I had to dub friends and colleagues in tests and examinations, just to pass Maths.

The point I am trying to make is that not all fears can be conquered, but if you can decide not to let it dictate your life, then you can conquer other fears, regardless of whether the first has been conquered or not. Do not let your destiny be directed by fear and fear of one thing should not be fear of everything. Learn to deal with your fears individually and not let the fact that you have one fear scare you into thinking that you cannot conquer other fears.

Single And Alive

Say it with me guys "I'm single and that doesn't mean I'm dead"
Everyone tags single life with loneliness and other depressing crap. I understand what it feels like to be lonely, to feel left out,to feel like your'e missing out on love. Your friends are out having fun with their better halves and you're stuck at home watching movies in big shirts and stuffing chocolate down your throat. Even with all that, I need you to know that it's okay, you're not going to be single forever. Sometimes you're so lonely and desperate that when your friends have fights with their significant other, you wish you had someone to even argue with not to mention fight with. It's so annoying to be the third wheel to your friends when they go on casual dates.
Trust me, I get it, I've been there. You just have to always remember that everything takes time, you deserve to be happy (everyone does). You would find love, but don't go out desperately looking for it. Let love find you, that's the best kind of love there is, in my opinion. Don't worry you won't be single forever, your Prince Charming/Cinderella is just taking a long time to find you, won't be long now. In the meantime, take yourself out occasionally, treat yourself to nice things, be your valentine everyday. You don't need someone else to make you feel happy or loved. Love yourself, explore YOU.
The rush to be in a relationship pushes people to make a lot of mistakes, most especially the females (I'm going to concentrate on the girls. Nothing feminist about this, I just have more experience here). Ladies, you should never be okay with a guy cheating on you or treating you less than you deserve just because you're tired of being lonely. That is not love, you should never feel less special than you are. Any guy who cannot treat you like a Queen does not deserve your love. Whoever you're with is supposed to make you feel safe and forget your insecurities ( unless of course you're a tad bit crazy).  If you don't feel loved, safe, happy or important among-st others, then you should probably not be in that relationship.
To sum up, Gents and Ladies, don't settle for less just because you're tired of being lonely. Your happiness matters, if you're not happy then why bother? You can be happy all by yourself.

Zero Economy

Right now I'm speaking mainly for Nigeria, but the economy is affecting other countries,I haven't done a lot of research on it.
Back to the matter, can someone pls explain to me what's up with President Buhari? Who knows what's going on in that messed up brain of his? All of you that supported change, you wanted change right. Well you got change, hope you're happy now? I mean seriously,we've lost everything, fuel, value of naira, dollar rate, electricity(although it was nothing to write home about before). Question is how do we move on from this, what's the way out?
Not implying anything, but when I hear somethings Buhari has done like giving the Muslims dollars at the rate of 197 instead of 390,I wonder why he has not been assassinated yet. Nigerians what are you waiting for (lol). We need to do something about the blind illiteratracy that is dragging us to our impending doom. I wish i could say more but I'm afraid that if I keep talking I might get arrested. The things I have to say to him might be a bit much.
Pray for Nigeria guys,PRAY!!!

Being A Virgin

Okay I've been holding out on this particular article for a while now. Maybe I'm a little afraid that my opinions on this particular topic is a little too strong for the public, then I realized no one is paying me to keep quiet, plus I promised to be real, that includes being 100% honest. Before I go further I want to make it clear that this article is mainly for my female readers. Guys, we all know you don't care about being a virgin or not, society does not judge you or care about when you loose IT. But for those of you who care, please enjoy.
There is nothing terrible about being a virgin, girls you do not have to feel obligated to loose your virginity to any Tom Dick or Harry if you're not ready. I know a lot of people don't see virginity as a big deal and I'm not about to go down that road of argument (sorry). I feel one should be ready and mature for IT before doing IT. There are lots of things that can make you regret your first time (person, place, time, how). So don't rush to do something that is going to last a few minutes (yeah yeah boys, I know "IT lasts longer".You're lucky I didn't say seconds). I guess the reason why I'm all for waiting is because, having sex changes you in so many ways you can't even imagine, ways you don't even notice. And girls, please don't turn into sluts just because you've started doing IT.
I'm not going to say much on this. Just be safe, make sure you pick the right person who's going to take IT as serious as you take IT. Someone who's going to cherish the precious gift you just gave him. Someone who you love that loves you back and probably knows what he is doing, I heard the first time is painful gals (shh). Bottom line is make your first time a pleasant memory, something you can look back on and smile instead of something you look back on and be filled with regrets and sadness.
For those of you who lost IT in a regrettable moment or those of you who lost IT to a douche, I'm sorry. Come here (*hugs*). It's gonna be alright, even though you'll always remember it, don't forget that time heals all wounds. There are better guys out there, who would treat you the way you deserve to be treated. Don't let a guy make you feel worthless, you're special baby girl. Don't let that one mistake weigh you down, instead learn from it and grow.
Oh look at that, I didn't even express my strong opinions.

Let's Talk Linda Ikeji

Can someone please tell me why a successful woman would act so childish on social media? I used to look up to this woman as a fellow blogger. Now I'm beginning to question my decision. I honestly did not expect such from her.
Seriously though, how do you take a picture of your bags to show off your wealth and it turns out that the bag is fake, then you have the audacity to argue on social media and take more pictures? Do you have no shame? Does she honestly think that her instagram fight was a big improvement on her career?
I was shocked when she actually captioned one of the fake bag picture on instagram with ".....took another picture on my bed in my N500m mansion in banana Island" what's up with that? Linda if you are reading this, that's that Bullshit!! You don't say that, EVER!
This just goes to show that maturity truly doesn't come with money and age.  Linda I'm sorry to say but you lack maturity. I understand the anger one might feel when someone tells you that an expensive item you bought is fake, but that doesn't mean you have to stoop to their level. It doesn't excuse her behaviour at all. I mean she could use that money to help poor kids and give back to the society, instead she uses it to buy material things, as if that's not enough she posts it on instagram and acts childish. That's just sad.
